Chris Hemsworth's Upcoming Film Project
Hollywood actor Chris Hemsworth is set to take on a new role in an upcoming submarine thriller titled 'Subversion', produced by Amazon MGM.
The film will be helmed by German director Patrick Vollrath, with a screenplay written by Andrew Ferguson.
Described as a thrilling adventure reminiscent of 'Die Hard' but set on a submarine, the project is being produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura of di Bonaventura Pictures.
In 'Subversion', Hemsworth portrays a once-promising naval commander who finds himself coerced by a cartel-like group into navigating a perilous submarine loaded with illegal goods across international waters.
The official synopsis reveals that he is caught in a tense game of cat and mouse, needing to evade blockades and confront dangers both inside and outside the submarine.
Vollrath, known for his short films like 'Everything Will Be Okay' and 'The Jacket', made his feature film debut with '7500', which starred Joseph Gordon-Levitt as a pilot facing a hijacking.
In addition to 'Subversion', Hemsworth is also collaborating with Amazon MGM Studios on another thriller titled 'Crime 101', where he will share the screen with Mark Ruffalo, Barry Keoghan, Halle Berry, and Monica Barbaro.
Moreover, Hemsworth is expected to reprise his iconic role as Thor in the forthcoming film 'Avengers: Doomsday'.
